Education Committee

The mission of the Education Committee is to develop and implement the educational offerings of SURJ Sacramento that support building an anti-racist consciousness.

Current Offerings

 

  • Monthly Saturday Dialogues, where we have the opportunity to strengthen our antiracism muscles

  • Ongoing resource lists

Future Offerings

 

We are in the process of creating Learn & Liberate, a 12-week series that combines learning and action to deepen our understanding and commitment. Members can contribute in many ways, from research, to facilitation, to 1:1s with committee members, to administrative support.

Meetings

The Education Committee typically meets the fourth Thursday of every month from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.
